Cnma (pronounced Cinema) is the alias of producer, singer, songwriter and musician Tristan Temmel, born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Whose start to music began at 9 years old with his affinity for the drums leading him to learn to play the guitar and piano sparking his passion for music. This propelled him to start vocal training at the age of 12 and performed across Orlando throughout his youth.
Sharpening his musical talents over the years he was then offered a role in a band at the age of 17 and off to LA he went. After many months of grueling training, performing and studio work the band went there separate ways but with endings comes new beginnings that paved the path for Tristan’s discovery of his true musical inspirations. He dived into song writing, production, sound design and music theory resulting in Tristan and 2 friends coming together forming the very beginnings of Cnma.
Dedicated to refining his skills he started an apprenticeship at a local studio furthering his productions, mixing and mastering knowledge. Eventually the original members of Cnma amicably split with life taking the other 2 members in different directions. Only propelling Tristan’s ambitions further he released his first solo record “Maholo” in 2018 embarking on his journey as a solo artist. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he spent the next 3 years vigorously honing each of his skill sets and cultivating his own sound. Cnma released his debut EP “My Life is a Joke” in 2021 followed by his single “September” in 2022.
